Help! I need a 10 foot interface!
Posted: Sun Nov 06, 2005 7:00 amI want a 10 foot interface that will work well with uirt....but here's the catch,
there is always a catch =)
I have NO NEED whatsoever for PVR software. I have a dual input tivo for that...and it's quite sufficient for my needs. I just want a 10 foot interface that can...do these things VIA REMOTE CONTROL....
1. Play Divx, Xvid and such from a local or networked drive.
2. Play Mp3 via networked or local.
3 Play DVD's via a Local DVD player, or if possible from a hard drive.
ANYTHING on top of these things is just gravy for me. Xbox media center was perfect. But now I have an Xtra PC laying around that is much faster and has much more potential in my eyes. I'm just at a loss for what software I should put on this thing.
I have been searching the internets for some time now and drawn a blank.
Anyone in the know that could help?
