multiple remote controls and one usb-uirt

is it possible to have 10 remote controls and one usb-uirt? can i use
ordinary tv-remotes?
i want to make a poll system for my school.

...yes and no...

I believe I have an idea of what you're trying to do (multiple remotes aimed at a single USB-UIRT by multiple people).

Here are some of the caveats:

- Each remote would need to use its own code-set so that the app could recognize which remote initiated the code. This could be done with universal remotes, since they have many codesets.

- No two remotes could be used at the same time! This is because the IR of the two remotes would overlap creating an unrecongizable code.
