need an inexpensive repeater

Postby dmehling » Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:48 pm

I am using a USB-UIRT to control some of my electronic devices. However I cannot reach all of them and I need some way of repeating the signal. Can someone suggest an inexpensive way of repeating it?

Sounds like you just need an IR extender. Here is one that X10 makes http://www.x10.com/automation/pm5900_s.html

You can generally get one of these from ebay pretty cheap.

According to me inorder to solve the problem you need to have an typical instrument in order to control that and that will be chargeble so there is no way to get anything free.
