USB-UIRT and Firefly mini ?

I've been using UIRT and my URC-6131 remotes to control SageTv for a while now with no problems.
I'm trying out BeyondTV PVR program and have programed a JP1 remote to emulate the firefly mini. But I can't figure out how to get BeyondTV to accept commands from the UIRT.
Has anyone else got this working ? I'm trying to control the BTV program directly, Fast forward, RR, pause, play, etc.
