KINAMAX ADS IR Blaster

Has anyone tried using an KINAMAX ADS IR Blaster? I've seen it listed several places and the specs look good. It uses a USB port to connect to a PC much like the USB-UIRT. The good point is it is considerably cheaper. I'm thinking of trying one but wanted to know if anyone had tried one.
