IR codes list?

Postby LonePalm » Sat Sep 15, 2007 12:45 am

Does anyone know of a listing of IR codes online that i could have the USB-UIRT send. specifically i'm looking for codes for my tv which can jump straight to a specific input without scrolling through all the inputs sequentially, if such codes exist. My tv is a Sony KP-57HW40. If anyone could point me in the right direction to start, that'd be great.

USB-UIRT can output ANY code. You just need to know what it is. Logitech has a huge database for their Harmony series remotes that pretty much has any IR code for anything. You could find it in that database. Might have to download the software for the remote...not sure

problem with the logitech idea is that the program checks if you own a logitech remote. So I don't think there's an easy way to read their database for IR codes.

Hi LonePalm,

Unless I am wrong these codes do not exist.

However, the same code can be sent sequencially several times. It is meant to simulate long press on a button.

Take a look at the 4th parameter of the UUIRTTransmitIR function, the uRepeatCount variable.

Some of my equipement need only one 'pulse'. If I set the uRepeatCount variable to 3 for example, the equipement will react 3 times.

This could be the answer.
