Hi

IS there any way that I can use sage to issue an "ON" command to my Voom STB is it has recovered from a power outage, perhaps by a keyboard shortcut or menu selection?

If not, is there a SIMPLE 3rd party application that I can use to send the correct IR command?

Leaving Florida tomorrow to go back to the UK and would apprecte a solution to this before I go if at all possible!!

You could use Girder but that isn't really a 'simple' app.

You could also email support@usbuirt.com and get the lrnHelper test app. Its not the right app for the job but it would likely work well enough if you get in a bind. It can learn a single code and has a 'transmit' button on the app dialog (no keyboard shortcut, though).
