60KHz Compatibility

Postby walbodiddy » Thu Aug 24, 2006 1:13 am

Hello, All.

I have a Harmony 628, which Logitech specifies as transmitting at, ">60 kHz." Since the USB-UIRT is listed as receiving up to only 57KHz, this would lead me to believe that it won't work with my remote. But, having seen numerous posts regarding successful uses of Harmony remotes with the USB-UIRT, I'd like to know if I can be one of the elite, computing from my couch.

So, to cut the verbage, will the USB-UIRT receive signals from my Harmony 628?

Thanks very much.

Yes it will. I am not sure what the harmony >60Hz spec refers to.
