weird conversion question

Postby rhett342 » Sun Sep 19, 2004 3:10 am

Hi everyone, I've got a weird request that I can understand if no one can answer. Is there a way to conver registry entries that Homseer uses to control the USB-UIRT into Pronto codes? I'm trying to get discrete IR codes for my TV over at Remote Central and the people over there are asking my to send over some Pronto Hex codes to help determine what codes my system uses to look up the discretes.
Thanks in advance!

Rhett,

Actually this should be easy! The HS USB-UIRT plugin stores the codes in the registry in Pronto format! The registry location is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\UIRT_IR

Alternatively, you could use the LrnHelper applet to learn Pronto codes from your TV remote...
