Cinemar adds support for USB-UIRT

We've recently added support for the USB-UIRT for the Lobby Suite.
We need some more beta testers to put the new plugin to the test.

The plugin supports learning IR, pasting Pronto Codes and Macro functionality. You can also export and import devices you create making it easy to exchange devices between users.

Jon, I posted this on the cinemar forum, but thought that perhaps you would know more about this. A while back I was having problems getting my USB-UIRT to learn IR with my Harman Kardon remote. You modified the software so that it could accept bursts. Everything worked great after that and I was able to learn all my commands into girder.

I'm having the same problem with the MLUSBUIRT's plugin learn mode. Do you know of anyway to make the "accept burst" option work with MLUSBUIRT? Or, since I already have my IR codes learned in girder, is there a way to convert these to a raw or pronto or some other format that the MLUSBUIRT would accept?

Here's my post in the cinemar forum.

My remote for my Harman Kardon receiver sends out IR in bursts not in a long sequence. Jon Rhees modified his USB-UIRT learn software for girder to handle remotes like this one. I've learned all the comands into girder, but cannot get the MLUSBUIRT to learn these IR codes. Is there some way that Jon's burst recognition could get incorporated into the plugin or some way that I can import my girder IR commands for the USB-UIRT into the MLUSBUIRT plugin database?

I've been in contact with Jon and I'm going to incorporate the new logic into the plug-in. In the meantime he gave me a little utility that should get you through the problem for now.

The attached zip file contains a LrnHelper program that you can use outside of ML to learn IR commands. Use this utility for the remote in question. You will need to click on the "Accept Burst" button when it becomes enabled.

This worked great. I was able to learn the commands and copy them to MLUSBUIRT and they worked perfectly.
