Hello, I would like to use the USB-UIRT with a special software to program an infrared remote control. I would like to know if it works with other software, not necessarily Girder. My software ask me for an infrared remote decoder (in COM1 or COM2) to copy the infrared signals I want to include in my device (IR remote control), but I don’t know if it will work with USB-UIRT. Could you help me? Thanks.

You can write software on your own to work with the USB-UIRT. As far as the software you are using, I doubt that it supports the USB-UIRT since it is looking for a remote decoder on COM1 or COM2 (which are serial ports) and the USB-UIRT is USB.
