PIC functions available with USB?

Postby PTDude » Tue Feb 04, 2003 6:42 am

Hi Jon,

I have the M-Audio Revo sound card that I'm wanting to use as a preamp.

I've designed a circuit to give 4 additional analog inputs and was planning on using a UIRT2 to do the switching between inputs.

Does the USB-UIRT have any provisions for switch control on board?

Thanks for any info.

PTDude - Is there an AVS thread about your little project? I, too, have a Revo & would like more inputs. I would be happy, though, with a "prioritization scheme" (a la the DVDO iScans) where you simply connect devices in order of priority... if there's a signal on input 2, it is automatically selected over input 3 or 4... but if you fire up the device connected to input 1, then it gets priority over 2, 3 or 4. RC input selection would also be cool, tho...

Hope you're planning on posting the circuit for others as well - or maybe even making PCBs available.
