Turning ON my HTPC

Postby sanderh » Mon Apr 24, 2006 11:42 am

I m new with Girder!

I m using:

Girder 3.3
USB-UIRT ir receiver
HTPC
Logitech Harmony remote control 525

I've played with Girder 3.3 for a while now and finallyh configured my TheaterTek software ok now. Also am able now to shut down my pc with a button on my Harmony Remote. However, I m wondering if it is also possible to get my HTPC ON with my remote. I think maybe it will be something with my bios but don t IF it is possible to turn my pc ON while he is OFF (not stand-by)

any thoughts?

The best I have seen is motherboards which allow wake-from-USB when in deep standby (S3). I have yet to see a motherboard work to allow wake from OFF (S4).
