won't learn sony tape deck code

Postby Garuda » Fri Apr 21, 2006 12:34 pm

:( The usb uirt won't learn the code for my sony tape deck (tc-we475), I also have the codes in a pronto ccf but if I paste them in there is no response when I test it. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a problem with some sony codes? It copies into my all in one okay, Any suggestions?

Garuda,

What app are you pasting them into? Can you post some of the codes you're pasting?

I am using the girder4 usbuirt learnin option and have had great success with most of my system:
the learnt code (off an all in one remote) is:

0000 0067 0000 000D 0060 0019 0030 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0030 0019 0030 0019 0030 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0030 040A

I'll have a search for the ones ''I've copied off remote central

You should be on the latest then. The FW has not changed for over a year now (as well as the Girder 3.x plugin)

Have you tried changing the repeat setting in Girder -- try a low number like 1 and 2 and also a high number like 10.
