UIRT Learning all codes but one! --> can't learn "1&

Setup is BeyondTV on Noos cable TV box (Sagem) on HPTC on 0038 (38k) USB-UIRT

UIRT works like a charm except can't learn the "1" button

which means no ability to tune 1,10-19,100-199 and all the others channels containing one, rendering the experience mucho frustrating.

Anyhow,

1) Has anyone had a similar problem?

2) Are there any fine tuning settings which i may not know about to setup more exactly this individual IR channel? (not using Girder)

3) Could this be a 0038 vs. 0056 or 38k vs. 56k model issue, where newer remotes issue different signals which the 38k UIRT can't capture. Said another way, would it make sense that a 38k UIRT be able to get most of the codes BUT ONE or would it not get ANY codes if newer remote can out of frequency bounds?

4) Workarounds?
