UIRT2A works briefly, then doesn't receive

With Girder, I use a mouseremote w/ Generic Serial plugin and an IRMAN. Both work great and I have gained a lot of good Girder experience with them. Girder is outstanding and UIRT is a necessity now.

My new UIRT2A (assembled by Luc) is connected to 5V but not WOL. Girder reports that it is "loaded in memory (sending events)", however Girder receives only the first time something is sent to it (one press of a key on the remote). It can trigger an event only one time after the plugin is enabled and then Girder sees no activity.

I've checked the voltage to it (5V) and behaves the same regardless of whether external 5V is connected. I've also tried several settings in Girder --with no success. Any suggestions?[/u]
