Strange and sudden error with USB-UIRT Windows7 and Homeseer

Postby elo » Mon Nov 09, 2009 2:38 pm

I have used the USB-UIRT as a IR frontend to HomeSeer Pro for as while. Then suddenly it stopped working: Now only the first IR comand given after HomeSeer is started works (regardless of command). I am runing W7 and I do suspect that this happened after a OS update. I have tried to restore but with no luck. I have also tried various versions of HomeSeer but with the same result. I have also re-installed the USB-UIRT completely (using the W7 driver found at the USB-UIRT web page). I am out of ideas and need help to resolve this.

Very embarising. I had put in wait statements in some of the events. The system was simply waiting for them to time out (HomeSeer). Nothing wrong with USB-UIRT......
