USB-UIRT Forum

I have installed the USBUIRT on my computer, however, it is not recognized in windows media center. I have Vista OS. Is there a way to test if I correctly installed the drivers?
I am trying to use the IR to change the channels in ORB on my iPhone from my Verizon Fios settop box. Orb works fine and I receive the one channel that the box is set to, but just can't change channels.
Any help would be greatly appreciated by those of you that have set up theirs to work this way..

I think it has to have Microsoft-recommended RC6 IR protocol in the driver to work with media center. The question is it it going to get it or did I just was my money on this thing?

Any update on this yet? I am trying to prevent from buying a MCE remote and receiver.
