Wake-up feature trouble with EventGhost (working with Girder

I use my USB-UIRT device with EventGhost. I would like to be able to use the convenient wake-up feature of the device. But it appears it doesn't work if EventGhost is running before standby... If I use Girder or if the utility Lrnhelper is loaded in memory before standby, I'm able to wake up my computer from S3 with the flashed IR control. With no remote software loaded, nothing happens. If EventGhost is loaded before the standby, the wake up call won't work either (even if Girder or Lrnhelper are also running).
I'm under Windows XP SP3.
I hope someone can help me solve this issue.
