orb crashes when learning remote codes with usb-uirt

orb won't learn remote codes--keeps crashing and going back to previous page. I have a hauppaauge 1950 and direct tv. I want to uninstall usb-uirt and reinstall, but i am not sure how to or how to get it to work, Orb works fine but obivously i cannot change channel..help

Im having the same problem. I just got my blaster yesterday and Orb learning mode gives me an error. Have you been able to resolve this?
Using XP Pro with service pack 3 and HAVA as tuner.
