Learning issue with Beyond TV

for the first year i had Direct TV and i never had a single solitary issue. But with in the past 5 months i have change to Sudden Link Cable. Since then i have never been able to get the Channel 1 button to store. But just recently channels 5 and 6 have also fell of into the dark and its driving me insane. If any one has any help they could possibly offer me i would be extremely appericative.
