PC crashing on startup

I have a problem....but first let me describe my setup :
I am completely paralyzed except my head and I use the USB-UIRT to control my AV equipment from a Tablet computer mounted on my wheelchair. Since I fitted the UIRT on the computer it crashes on startup and since the Tablet PC does not have a reset button I have to tell who is around to remove the battery. Anybody has any idea what is happening ?
The Tablet PC is a RM RTAB912-T01.
