remote clicks are sent twice to application

Just installed my new USB-UIRT. I'm using HIP & GB-PVR.
My remote is a universal Philips SRU9600. I set it up to be microsoft remote compatible (I guess this means MCE remote).

After programming HIP, each time I hit a key on the remote, I get 2 blinks on the USB-UIRT, 2 audio signals (when on), and 2 events sent to the application e.g. one click on up, causes 2 up on the sisplay.

I tried to turn on the toggle bit, and also played with the delay, withou any luck.

Any ideas what to try next?

Thanks,
Dan

Have you tried to change the number of times HIP sends out the IR signal? The default is 2. I had to bump mine up to 4 to control my DishNetwork DP311 receiver, but you may have to drop it to 1. You can find the value in HIP from File->Preferences->IR Output. Hope this fixes it.

I'm not using an IR blaster - i.e. I'm not generating IR events to some other device.
I'm using the remote to send commands to the computer/application - and these commands are received twice.
