USBUIRT driver Installation

Postby nickow » Sun Jan 13, 2008 2:00 am

I received a USBUIRT yesterday and managed to get it set up and running perfectly with Girder and my HTPC. Just when I thought everythin was peachy, I sent my computer into standby using my MCE remote just as I've always done, but this time it woke straight back up again. After a bit of digging I found that it was the USBUIRT that was waking it up, but you could turn this functionality off through Girder.

I went to the settings section in Girder and turned off the resume from standby support. I was then prompted to exit girder, unplug the usbuirt and plug it back in again. This is what I did, but ever since then I have been unable to install the driver for the USBUIRT. According to windows XP it is now a USB <-> Serial device.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Nick

Did you ever find a solution to your problem? All of a sudden this problem has come up for me?
