Holding down button for repeat

Postby robjen1019 » Sat Jan 12, 2008 5:50 am

Working on getting uirt set up with girder for my htpc, but the one thing I can't figure out is how to get it to repeat the key pressed when I hold down the button

Example holding down volume + to continue to raise volume without multiple key inputs.

I notice that when I hold down the button, the light on the uirt flashes, but nothing seems to be going on. I have to release and press again to get anything to happen.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

This somewhat depends on the app you're using. However, if you want the USB-UIRT to repeatedly send the same IR code to PC while you hold the button on the remote, you can turn this option on using Girder or LrnHelper. The option is called 'pass stop codes as repested events'.
