Two keys always cause checksum errors

Postby grant » Thu Jan 03, 2008 3:21 am

I'm trying to generate a config file using irrecord, and
everything works fine except for two keys. These two keys
always generate checksum error messages:
Code: Select all
Please enter the name for the next button (press <ENTER> to finish recording)
tools

Now hold down button "tools".
Something went wrong. irrecord: uirt2_raw: checksum error
irrecord: uirt2_raw: UIRT version 0905 ok
Please try again. (9 retries left)
Something went wrong. irrecord: uirt2_raw: checksum error
irrecord: uirt2_raw: UIRT version 0905 ok
Please try again. (8 retries left)
Something went wrong. irrecord: uirt2_raw: checksum error
irrecord: uirt2_raw: UIRT version 0905 ok
Please try again. (7 retries left)

This is completely repeatable. The two "bad" keys ('.' and
'tools') generate checksum errors 100% of the time. All other
keys work 100% of the time.

Any ideas on what's wrong?
