Hello,

I am a beyond TV user, and I am looking to get the UIRT for changing the channels on the Satalite box, but, the problem is that after a set amount of time the box goes into standby and the only way to get it out of standby is to press enter on the remote. Is there a way to have Enter pressed prior to entering the channel number on the satalite box? Any help would be really appreciated.

I had the same problem....I went into the Dish box setup and turned off the standby timer, then I set a reminder for 4am each morning to have it auto-tune to a channel, like ch. 5 for example......that way it wakes up each morning. I just have to make sure I turn the box off each night which is a PAIN but I have been fighting with Dish ever since I upgraded to HD! Am thinking about changin over to Comcast now after YEARS on Dish.....
