USB-UIRT into Universal Remote's MRF-350?

I'd like to feed IR generated by my CQC/USB-UIRT combo into my devices fed by the MRF-350. The USB-UIRT has an output suitable for an emitter, while the 350 has an input.

Is it safe to assume that I can connect the two, or are we talking about different levels/formats?
