SageTV, 2 Motorola DCT 2524's and a USB-UIRT

Hello, I've been getting very confused with my USB-UIRT and SageTV 6.1
(windows xp MCE 2005 OEM, Amd 2600XP+, 1.5 GB ram, USB-UIRT 1.4 drivers).

It seems that when ever I try to confirm that SageTV and the USB-UIRT are working together that I will periodically loose zones.

ie. I'll send codes to Z1 (DCT #1) and the red led on the front lights up - channel changes
then I'll send codes to Z2 (DCT #2) and the red led on the front lights up - channel changes

I'll do test recordings on both DCT's and everything works.

I'll walk away and then two normal recordings will come up on SageTV with the DCT's and the codes only get sent to one.

Then when I go back to check the codes are working in the setup area the USB-UIRT only lights up for Z1 codes and not Z2 codes.

So I guess what I'm saying ... Is there a torture test program I can use to send remote codes with zone control so I can try and figure out where the codes are getting lost? ie ... strings of codes like Z1{123Enter} Z2{045Enter} so I can simulate channel changes on the DCT's and decide if it's something in SageTV that's forgetting which ir files to use or when to use them.
