USB-UIRT transmission to Motorola DCT700 under Linux

Postby TrisMcC » Sat Jun 23, 2007 3:55 pm

Hello,

I am trying to get transmission working under Linux. I have receiving working fine with the DCT700 Remote. When I try to transmit, I get the light on the USB-UIRT to light up, but the channel change does not happen. The numbers do not register. I have tried many different "frequency" lines in my lircd.conf file, but none of them work properly. I have the regular $50 USB-UIRT.

Frequencies Tried:
38000
40000
36000
39200
32000
56000
37037
57600
40244
37916
44000
42000
38380

Any ideas? I have been working on this for 2 weeks to no avail.

OK, if anyone needs ANY more information, I am glad to provide anything. This inability to transmit is starting to sour me on the USB-UIRT. I was going to buy at least 1 and probably 2 more if I could get this transmitting to work.
