Help with setup in HomeSeer 2.0
Posted: Sun Jun 17, 2007 4:23 pmI am trying to get the USB-UIRT to work with Homeseer. After checking all of the posts here and on homeseer's website I am still at a loss of how to get the USB-UIRT to learn IR codes and interact with Homeseer. Here is what I have done so far:
I installed the USB-UIRT Drivers in Vista Premium. The device seems to be working fine with the OS.
I installed the plugin in HomeSeer. I can go to the Setup / Interfaces tab and see the USB-UIRT listed and active.
I rebooted the computer and restarted HomeSeer.
However I am unable to do anything past that. Where do I go to learn IR codes? From what I have read I should be able to go to View / IR through the main homeseer window but that option is not listed there. I can't seem to find anything that gives me the ability to interact with the device or teach homeseer IR codes. Its not listed as a device on the status page.
