Double commands received from Hauppauge Silver Remote
Posted: Tue May 29, 2007 2:09 amI recently purchased a USB-UIRT and I was going to use that in place of the IR sensor that came with my PVR-250, to control BeyondTV (among other things..), I am currently still using the Hauppauge Sliver Remote to control the HTPC.
It seems that every command coming from the Hauppauge remote is being received twice! This is very annoying when trying to select a show on the screen and it is always getting skipped over!
I did not have this problem when I was using the IR sensor with the PVR-250.
I had tried both girder 3.3, and girder 4.0 with the same results. The plugin version I'm using is 2.6.9.
Also, I think that the USB-UIRT hardware is processing the command twice, since the red light in the front of the device flashes twice for every button press, instead of once (even when girder is not running at all).
Any help would be much appreciated,
