Power USB Hub killed my UIRT

UIRT been working trouble free for 9 months

Today added a 7 port power usb hub to my system. plugged my UIRT into one of the ports and the UIRT LED went bright red. Never seeing that before I quickly unplugged and placed the UIRT back into my motherboard usb port and the UIRT led went back to normal. But now it no longer works. Windows-XP sees it but not sage. The UIRT led does not even flicker when I use any of my remotes near it.

install and reinstall drivers...................No Good

Tried UIRT on other PC's..........................No Go

Is my UIRT done for ?

I guess this is a first time event....Just my luck:

A $3K home media system and a $47 Uirt brings it to a halt.

To think, of all the htpc junk I have laying around the house "3 years worth" I only had one UIRT .

Think I'll buy one as a back-up this time

Great product anyways, Just don't plug it into a 3rd party powered hub

Ordered a new Uirt and everything works fine once again.
