Problem for learning code

Postby tip » Thu May 24, 2007 5:12 pm

Hi,

i've just bough the UIRT USB, and installed driver 1.4 under Vista, and with girder 4.

I want to use the remote of my STB given by my internet provider (the so-called freebox in france)

The problem is that many commands of this remote yield the same code, and it changes each time !
For example Volume+ and Volume- give the code 230810040084.

So I though the remote uses a proprietary protocol...
However, when I learn the "Big code" in "USB UIRT action" (in Girder) and then i send to the transmitter (and then to my STB), it works fine.
What i call a "Big code" is a code of the form :
0000 0071 0000 0024 000F 000B 0006 000B 0006 0017 0006 0011 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 0017 0006 0017 0006 0011 0006 0017 0006 000B 0006 0011 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 0D69 000F 000B 0006 000B 0006 0017 0006 0011 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 0017 0006 0017 0006 0011 0006 0017 0006 000B 0006 0011 0006 000B 0006 000B 0006 0D5C

Hence I deduce that the UIRT understand my remote.
So is there any way to use "big code" and not the "small code" in Girder ?

Thanks
tip
