Homeseer Plug-in Crash

Postby jerny » Sun May 13, 2007 10:29 pm

I emailed this info to the tech support address on the USBUIRT.com web site as well, but I thought I should post it here too. The following error caused HS2 to crash on me, and it appears to have been caused by the USBUIRT plug-in.

homeseer error

HomeSeer Version: 2.2.0.3
Operating System: XP Pro

Problem: 5/12/2007 5:53:16 PM
Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.
HomeSeer version: 2.2.0.3
Source: merged
Target: Void IREventCallback(System.Object, UsbUirt.ReceivedEventArgs)

at UsbUirt.Controller.ReceiveCallbackProc(StringBuilder irEventString, IntPtr userState)

Please specify what you were doing at the time of this error:
Nothing. I just logged into my Homeseer machine to do some tinkering, and this error popped up.

I've gotten this too. Once or twice on a 2003 server. I sent the log or error to homeseer and they said it is a uirt error and that I should let the developer know.

Fortunately, it doesn't happen a lot.
