Dreaded Double Channel # problem! help!

So I know this has come up before but I'm still stuck!!

Having the 'double channel number' problem, my Phillips DirectTV box will not accept two of the same number in a row....thus 244 comes out as 24...112 comes out as 12, etc etc. It's killing me....

I emailed support about some 'work around' but I know you're busy so I am hoping someone in the community has overcome this and can help me out!

To followup. John got back to me with a mildly involved but step by step solution to this problem. Half an hour later all was well and the USB-UIRT is working like a champ with GBPVR! Thanks!

This is the IR Code file for a Phillips DSX 5500 Direct TV Box. This file includes the 'double number' fix allowing you to send numbers like 244 without ending up on channel 24. It works like a champ.
