usb uirt double command receiving

Postby proudx » Wed Jan 10, 2007 8:34 am

when I send ir data from my remote to the usb uirt it always outputs the command double. I am using homeseer. Is there a way to limit the amount of repeated ir commands coming into the device in x amount of time/

I believe the Homeseer plugin has a 'debounce' time setting...?

no debounce feature

nope. You told me you would add the feature a long time ago for me but you never released an update with that feature. I am running homeser version 1.8.

Also I was able to test and find a definate time when double ir commands are received. high cpu usage causes this. when I try the same command with lower cpu usage it registers as just one command, but if cpu usage is say over 35 to 40% then I see double Ir commands.

debounce feature?

Postby proudx » Thu Jan 18, 2007 6:09 am

Jon,

Could you please add that debounce feature to the homeseer 1.7 plugin? I have been requesting it for a long time and really need it to fix my double ir command issue in homeseer.

thanks!
