This is a very long code! Is it a macro (i.e., does more than one function?)

no idea

the kenwood receivers have a 2 way remote, i have learned the code and also used "canned" pronto ones. some functions have "regular" length and some (input selection) have long ones

A future firmware rev. will solve this issue for you (it will allow even longer codes). It probably won't be out for a few more weeks, though. That is why I was trying to understand what this code does. Looking at the Pronto code, it appears to have 3 completely separate IR codes embedded in it.

couple weeks is no problem. I am very happy with the UIRTjust trying to get my vb program to get girder to trigger events.

Yes, the latest (an the one before too) 5.2.8 plugin revision supports long burt pair sequences. When importing a long sequence, make sure you CHECK the box 'Import as Raw'.

more detail

Postby PoolQ » Thu Jun 12, 2003 10:04 pm

the first post is the pronto code

and the second is a debug ir for learning a kenwood ir command

i cannot get the learn process past the first "block"

so i tried to capture the debug

it requires 5-6 presses to get it to report what it captured

so there will be repeats in the hex

the remote is a touchscreen, so i cannot hold the button

PoolQ,

Well, thanks! I found [yet] another bug. The bug fix will go into the next release. For now, I've converted your code with a bug-fixed version:

Paste this into the 'Code 1'

R0000815380A9161417141615173F173F173F1714163F161516141714161517141615161417141615173F171416151614171416151714163F1615163F163F163F163F163F163F1686D8

Paste this into 'Code 2'

0000815380A9161517141615163F163F163F1614173E17141615173F17141615161417141615173F173F1714163F163F16151614171416151714163F16151614173E173E173E1A85F1815380A9161417141615173F173F173F1614173E171416141714161517141714161517141615163F171417141614171416151714173E1714163F163F163F163F163F163F1686D8

And set Carrier to 38KHz.

Let me know!

This is conversion of the pronto with the bug-fixed Girder plugin (I haven't had time to look at your debug dump yet).

If you have easy access to all of the pronto codes then email me at uirtsupport@earthlink.net and I'll send you the prerelease of the bugfixed plugin.
