USBUIRT is not communicating

Having a strange situation - everything was up and working fine - then i messed with the system a bit - and the usb-uirt quit working - I am using Beyond TV 4.0 So i went through the install video card option again - when it gets to the screen that tests the USB-UIRT device - it keeps telling me to point the thing at the cable box - it is - directly. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and cannot figure this one out - oh and using firefly remote.

...done - working with them now... I think this may be a hardware problem... driving me NUTS!
