Solid Red Light---usb-uirt not recognized

this morning I switched my usb-uirt to plug into an external powered usb hub...after doing that it has a solid red light and is not recognized by the computer. I rebooted and plugged it directly back into the computer usb port and the same thing now...no recognized. Any ideas?

That doesn't sound good! Something must have happened in the switch. Please email support@usbuirt.com and we'll work on getting you a replacement.
