Wierd learning w/ OLD TV remote & Girder

Postby Crashless » Mon Mar 08, 2004 6:06 pm

So I have a 10+ Y.O. Mitsubishi TV, and it's remote. I'm trying to create commands to turn off etc w/ girder.

Problem is that when I learn the codes in girder the Hex comes up, but the feq. band gets set to 'DC (RF modulation)'. Which is obviously incorrect. It learns codes from my newer devices fine, but when it learns these codes, it comes up with that, and the test doesn't do anything.

I'm using the beta drivers API, and have SAGETV running in the BG. I've tried using every feq. band in the drop down with no joy.

Now, I admittedly haven't tried learning the codes with sage shut down, or with another remote since switching to the beta drivers, so I haven't completely isolated the problem, but I was hoping someone had seen this behavior before to save me some time.

I also tried putting in the hex codes found on remotecentral.com with no luck either. But that's probably just S.U.E. I haven't tried doing that before this.

Thanks
Crashless
