SageTV+Girder?

Postby Crashless » Fri Mar 05, 2004 11:32 pm

Is it possible to allow SageTV's built in support to co-exist with Girder? I can't seem to get both apps to share the USB-UIRT. It's one or the other.

Am I missing something, or can this not be done?

Thanks.

Yes, the two can coexist, but you'll have to be running the 'Sharing' girder plugin (www.usbuirt.com/latestGirderPlugin) for this to work.

Thanks, I was hoping that was possible. Though when I put in the link you posted, it came up as missing.

Is the newest one 2.5.9 from the support page? Or is there a separate one somewhere else?

Thanks so much.

Sorry, I mis-typed the link.

Try www.usbuirt.com/latestGirderPlugin.zip

Ah HA! Everything seems to work! A little bit of a delay in sage responding to incoming codes, but other than that it's flawless.

Thanks so much!

Crashless,

There is a beta of the USB-UIRT API driver to deal with the delay in Sage when the USB-UIRT is being shared. Look at the second post on the page (by me) at

http://forums.freytechnologies.com/foru ... genumber=8

Pull down the 'beta2' API driver and replace the 'uuirtdrv.dll' file in your Windows\System32 folder and then restart Sage and Girder.

Thanks a million. Everything is flawless now. I'd say those beta drivers are working well.
