Channel number sent twice

Postby sbourdon » Thu Feb 26, 2004 10:59 pm

Hello,

I have a little problem with Girder and USB-UIRT sending the channel number twice everytime I load SnapStream. Problem is most of the time, the cable box misses one number the second time and so, I end up watching the wrong channel (channel 11 instead of 101, for example). Why is the code sent twice? What can I do to send it only once?

Thank you!

Is Snapstream using Girder to talk to the USB-UIRT, or is Snapstream controlling the USB-UIRT directly?

If Girder is controlling the USB-UIRT, try reducing the 'repeat count' on the USB-UIRT dialog. Also, you may need to increase the dalay between IR transmissions.

I have a similar problem. Snapstream is controlling the USB-UIRT via girder, and I get double channel tunes when choosing a channel from the EPG.

I believe this problem was introduced with Snapstream v3.4. I flagged it, to Snapstream, during the 3.4 beta program, but it was never fixed. If you haven't already I suggest you mention on teh Snapstream support/beta forums.
