Strange. Most of the time but not all of the time after a reboot girder loads and then homeseer will try to initialize the modem freezing the system. Reset button is the only recover. If I unplug the USBUIRT then reboot Girder complains. Homeseer initalizes, everything fine. I plug in USBIRT and restart girder and no more problems until next reboot.

That *is* very interesting, since the USB-UIRT doesn't use COM ports of any kind. Have you tried booting with the USB-UIRT plugged in, but not starting Girder (or starting Girder without having it enable plugins automatically) until *after* homeSeer initializes, and then starting Girder (or enabling plugins)?

I set girder NOT to run at startup and had homeseer start it in the startup script. Works just fine. Still very strange.

I wonder if there is some sort of Girder plugin/etc. which is scanning COM ports and interferes with HomeSeer (some sort of timing issue which loading the USB-UIRT causes to happen).????
