TryDrv (VB)

Postby Tony » Tue Aug 12, 2003 12:44 am

I just received my USB-UIRT today. Installed the drivers and everything went smooth. I tried testing using TryDrv (VB version) and transmission was fine. However when attempting to use the learn function the program failed. It also fails if I just use the cancel button. I get an MS dialog asking "Please tell MS about this problem....".
The C++ version of TryDrv works fine. I'm using windows XP.

Thanks
Tony

Tony,

If only I could duplicate this problem... Several others have had this same problem with the VB app I wrote. I think its my lack of experience with VB, since the app is crashing when a callback from the USB-UIRT API DLL is made. I know how to do this in C, but I think I'm doing something illegal in VB.

If anyone out there knows something about this, please let me know!
