USB-UIRT Forum

During setup of sagetv I am asked to use my cable TV (Sky) remote and press the 0 button and hold until asked to stop. The red LED on the USB-UIRT flashes but nothing happens in Sage and eventually the remote stops sending.

I have installed http://www.usbuirt.com/lrnhelper_0_0_2.zip and this recognises different button presses so I know that to some extent the USB UIRT is working. Am I missing a step that helps interface Sage TV?

Sage reportedly has a problem with the learn wizard which can cause Sage to hang when learning *if* Sage is run as a 'Service'. Apparently you must disable the 'Run as Service' mode *or* you can manually learn the codes using LrnHelper and create your own Sage .IR file.
