Setting up USB-UIRT with SageTv
Posted: Mon Feb 06, 2006 3:41 pmI am setting up SageTV, and I can't seem to get the remote control working correctly. Navigating with a mouse or with a wireless keyboard is very quick and smooth, but not so with a remote control using USB-UIRT. You might press a remote button and the action start instantly, or it might take a few seconds ,or it might never respond, you just never know. A search on the Sage forum found one person who had to install a powerd USB hub to fix this problem. If I need a powered usb hub I will get one, but if it is something else then the hub would just be something in the way. Any suggestions or ideas?
