IR connecting block?

Postby bdee1 » Mon Dec 05, 2005 8:19 pm

currently i have 2 Ir emitters coming out of a radio shack splitter which is coming out of the back of the usbuirt. i am not really concerned with zones because all my equipment is different and responds to different IR codes, but i would like the ability to connect more than 2 Ir emitters - probably 4-6. I saw in another post that it seems like a connecting block could be used if it were powered. can someone recommend a connecting block that would suit my needs and work with the usbuirt?

thanks!

I have been using a Xantech CB60 6 emitter connecting block (with a power supply) for several years and it works well. http://www.usbuirt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=114&highlight=

Good luck.
