Noob with a challenging problem!

I want BTV to be able to tune a VCR to channels 23-40 and use a DTV box to tune channels 70+ using two Hauppauge tuners on the HTPC.

I live in a condo building where local channels and HBO are free; they are avaiable directly from the coax cable. DirectTV satellite channels are avaiable via Hughes DTV boxes.

The problem is this: the local channels can only be changed via a TV tuner and for whatever reason, output from the local channels must be via coax as well -using composite, component, etc output does not work.

I am using a Panasonic VCR for the tuner to change the local/HBO channels (23-40), which then feeds (via coax) to one of the PVRs. A MyBlaster changes the channels on the VCR for BTV I manualy turn on and change channels on the DTV box.

I have two BTV tuners (one for the VCR input and one for the DTV input) and in a perfect world, I'd like BTV to be able to change the channels for both the VCR and the DTV box.

Is this possible using the USB-UIRT???
