USB-UIRT+Meedio+Hauppauge PVR USB2+Dishnetwork IRD

am i even on the right path how can i control my dishnetwork ird through meedio software will USB UIRT do this for me if so what are all the hardware pieces that i will need. any help please...dazed and confused.

I believe it depends on which Meedio software you mean. I know that the upcoming MeedioTV will support changing channels on your Dish IRD as needed (via a USB-UIRT).

cant for the life of me get it to change channels what am i doing wrong, will i be able to use a wireless keyboard to change the channels as well.

also i dont have the remote for the echostar ird model 4000 anyone able to help me set this up using meedio.

Nrmf,
You may want to ask on the Meedio forums how to manually edit a Meedio IR Codes file (i.e., where to find the file, etc.). I can provide you with codes for a Dish Box once you have a file to put them into.
